The Jacksonville Women’s Business Center is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the JAX Chamber Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is also funded by grants, sponsorships and donations. Under the terms of many of our grants, the JWBC is required to match grant funding received, on a dollar-for-dollar basis. As a program of the JAX Chamber Foundation, all donations, sponsorships or contributions to the JWBC are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
There are several ways you can sponsor JWBC.
- Make an individual charitable contribution to the JWBC. Your contribution counts toward our matching funds, provides a tax deduction for you and, most importantly, helps a woman business owner receive the mentoring or education she needs to move her business to the next level. - Invest your corporate marketing or CRA dollars with the JWBC. Your marketing dollars, diversity supplier funds, Community Reinvestment Act funds or your corporate foundation can make a huge difference in the lives of women business owners. Sponsorships are available for many of our programs. Your sponsorship helps keep the cost of our programs low, so women who are small business owners can afford to attend. You are also supporting the country’s fastest growing segment: Women-Owned businesses.
