The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce is delighted to partner with the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center (JWBC) and the JAX Chamber to bring an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurs in St. Johns County. Inspired by the JAX Bridges (www.jaxbridges.com) program, The Pitch Factory is a six-week workshop that will help prepare entrepreneurs to bring their businesses to the next level by helping to develop and refine their pitches and strategy.
At the conclusion of the program, entrepreneurs will have the chance to meet with key leaders from large organizations to share their “pitch.” Participants will receive valuable feedback and develop knowledge and confidence to take their business to the next level.
Thanks to a Women’s Business Center grant and our generous sponsors, North Avenue Capital, this program is free of charge.
Our class runs June 1 through July 13 on Thursdays from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the Ascension St. Vincent’s Hospital training space, at the corner of I-95 and 210.
Each participant will be invited to present his or her entrepreneurial idea on Thursday, July 13 in an in-person pitch competition hosted at Ascension. Participants must complete each of the six (6) live, interactive modules to be eligible to participate in the live pitch event. A monetary prize will be distributed to those companies with the top pitches due to generous funding and additional support by North Avenue Capital.
