Thanks to our sponsors, the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center is able to offer a select number of scholarships each year to go through our Entrepreneur Certificate Program at no cost. This scholarship program is designed for a woman business owner who requires financial assistance and is eager to grow her business through entrepreneurial education.
JWBC Scholarship Program
Entrepreneur Certificate Program
Through the completion of the Entrepreneur Certificate Program, participants will master the tactics to streamline business processes, learn how to build brand awareness, and how to leverage their value for better customer acquisition and retention. As a result, participants will enhance the overall value of their business and themselves. The program consists of five components:
- Customer Development
- Financial Matters
- Legal Matters
- Marketing Matters
- Venture Leadership
Participants must complete four of the five components in order to receive Entrepreneur Certificate. See our upcoming Programs and Events »
NOTE: When you register for a JWBC program or event, photography, audio, and video recording may occur. Because this program has limited capacity, we want to make sure you are set up for success to complete this program. Please read and understand the following expectations prior to applying.
- Is currently in business, or has the intent of creating their business after participating in the Legal Matters program.
- Can commit to the program dates scheduled.
- Is willing to be paired with a mentor that is a sponsor of the Launch an Entrepreneur Program.
- Must have clearly defined objectives and specific reasons for seeking a Launch an Entrepreneur Scholarship.
