Anamaria Contreras joined the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center and Venture Services team in November 2019. During this time, she has overseen the management of transferring programs and services to digital platforms in order to enrich the experience of entrepreneurs in Northeast Florida.

Anamaria manages pilots for upcoming programming, participated in the creation of the Call to Innovate, is a lead facilitator for the JAX Bridges Program, and has enriched JWBC’s offerings by providing services in Spanish.

Born and raised in Colombia, she has lived in the United States since 2000 and graduated from UNF with a bachelor’s degree in communications with a focus on Public Relations and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Political Science. She’s fluent in Spanish and studied French at the Sorbonne University in Paris in 2013. In 2021 she completed Berkeley University’s certificate program in Digital Transformations.
