Small Business Week JWBC awards

The Jacksonville Women’s Business Center (JWBC) was presented with three awards by the U.S. Small Business Administration during National Small Business Week during a celebration hosted at the University of North Florida, May 5, 2023.

Recognition included North Florida District Women’s Business Center of the Year, State of Florida Women’s Business Center of the Year, and overall Region IV Women’s Business Center of the Year.

 

JWBC Director Jackie Perrault expressed her gratitude in being recognized and enthusiasm for the future of the organization.

The JAX Chamber Foundation’s Jacksonville Women’s Business Center (JWBC) has been awarded Women’s Business Center of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The award was presented at the 30th Annual Small Business Week Luncheon at the University of North Florida, May 25, 2022.

JWBC Director Jackie Perrault expressed her gratitude in being recognized and enthusiasm for the future of the organization.

“The growth of women-owned businesses in Northeast Florida continues to expand and the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center is proud to play an integral role on how entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners receive support and resources to navigate and sustain their enterprise,” Perrault said. “This recognition sets us one step closer to our goal of being a world-class Women’s Business Center.”

SBA Extends Deferment Period for all COVID-19 EIDL and Other Disaster Loans until 2022

WASHINGTON –The U.S. Small Business Administration announced extended deferment periods for all disaster loans, including the COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program, until 2022.
